Manchester United have been handed a boost in signing Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Ruben Neves this summer.
The Portugal international has been linked with the Red Devils on many occasions but a transfer has never materialised.
However, it could become a reality this summer. Neves is likely to be sold by Wolves as he has no plans of penning a renewal.
The midfielder has snubbed a new deal beyond June 2024 and the Midlands outfit will have no choice but to cash in on him.
United are looking for a young and experienced midfielder in the transfer market and Neves would be a fantastic acquisition.
He has vast experience playing in the English top-flight and would seamlessly fit into the plans of the Red Devils.
Wolves valued him in the region of £75 million two year ago, but they could sell him for a cut-price fee of around £30m this summer.
Aside from United, Liverpool could be in the running for the 26-year-old. The Reds have been following him from his Porto days.
