Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag is hoping for a big injury boost ahead of the FA Cup final against Manchester City next month.
Marcus Rashford has been a vital player for the Red Devils this season, contributing 29 goals and 11 assists from 53 games.
However, he is currently on the sidelines with a leg injury and it is currently uncertain when he could return to the playing field.
According to The Athletic, Ten Hag is optimistic over Rashford's fitness and believes he could be available for the Wembley showdown.
Rashford bagged the winning goal when the two sides met in the Premier League earlier this year. United secured a late 2-1 comeback win.
The England international has relished the challenge in the Manchester derby and his return would be a big boost for the Red Devils.
United have another three league games remaining before the FA Cup final at the Wembley Stadium. They will start the game as potential underdogs.
