Coppell set to resign from Reading

According to the Mirror, Reading boss Steve Coppell is expected to offer his resignation to chairman John Madejski today after an initial meeting with the chairman.

    Coppell has reportedly told his friends that he does not want a season in the Championship with Reading and feels he could make a move to another Premiership club instead.
