Manchester United have opened the door to selling defender Raphael Varane during the January transfer window.
The Frenchman has recently fallen out-of-favour under manager Erik ten Hag and he has been a regular on the bench.
This has spread speculation that he could leave in January and Sky Sport Germany claim that Bayern are interested.
United have revealed that Varane could depart for €20-30 million and they won't entertain a loan departure this winter.
The World Cup winner's departure could allow United to land a replacement. Jean-Clair Todibo has been regularly linked.
The 23-year-old was on the club's radar during the summer, but United did not have sufficient funds after the spending spree.
They could return for him at the turn of the year after parting ways with Varane. Nice value him in excess of €40 million.
Todibi held secret talks with Ten Hag over the summer and the club should have no problems in convincing him over a switch.
