Raymond Domenech has decided to go for 29 men in his squad, as he looks to wittle down to just 23 before Sunday's Euro 2008 squad deadline.
âI was obliged to gather the players a little before the tournament starts because some will not have played for a long time. Aime [Jacquet] did the same thing in 1998; it was under the same conditions.â
âAll the players want to come and play in the European Championships, which makes the decision on the 28th of May all the more difficult. It will be tough for those players who will be excluded, but the collective objective is more important than the individual one.â
