Arsenal and Manchester United have been handed a boost in signing RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko at the end of the campaign.
Sesko joined Leipzig from sister club Red Bull Salzburg last summer, but he has yet to become a regular starter for the Bundesliga giants.
Despite this, he has been impressive with seven goals from under 800 minutes and it is now claimed that he could leave during the off-season.
As part of his €24 million move to Germany, a release clause worth €50m was inserted into his contract. This will become active this summer.
Arsenal and United are among his long-term admirers and the Premier League duo could contemplate triggering the clause later this year.
Sesko previously revealed that he turned down United for Leipzig in order to get the opportunity to develop himself with regular game time.
That has not happened thus far. If he were to move to Arsenal or United, he could have the opportunity to make the number nine position his own.
