Cardiff City boss David Jones admitted that losing to Portsmouth in the FA Cup Final was difficult to take, but that the side will bounce back and battle for Premiership qualification next season.
Jones said: âA slight mistake cost us, we gave it everything weâve got and weâve done everyone proud.
âThere wasnât a great deal in it, thereâs no one to blame, but itâs hard to swallow.
âWhat we have done today is prove that maybe other teams can achieve what they thought was impossible.
âIâm very proud of my players, my staff, the chairman, and especially the fans. They have been magnificent and Iâm just sad we couldnât see it through to the death for them."
