Spurs chase Dean Ashton

Tottenham are reportedly considering a move for West Ham forward Dean Ashton. Spurs are preparing a bid of around £12 million to land the England forward.

Ashton has only just recovered from injury, but returned in great form for the Hammers, and a brilliant goal at Old Trafford against Man Utd capped a good spell of form in the close season.



Dimitar Berbatov is supposedly set for the Tottenham exit door, and the Lilywhites are on the look out for a long term successor for the Bulgarian.



West Ham are not keen on allowing one of their prized assets to leave the club.
