Chelsea are one of the front-runners to sign Athletico Paranaense goalkeeper Bento during the summer transfer window.
The Blues started the campaign with Robert Sanchez as their number one, but he was replaced by Djordje Petrovic following an injury.
The Serbian has kept his place between the sticks, but he has recently been prone to making goalkeeping errors too.
Hence, the club are looking into a new shot-stopper and it is claimed that they are keen on landing the services of Bento.
Bento was a relatively unknown to European clubs until last month when he made his international debut for Brazil against England.
His representatives are now speaking with interested teams and he could be on his way to the Premier League this summer.
The Blues are prepared to pay a fee in the region of €25 million for the 24-year-old, who has excelled with his reflexes.
He is not a strong ball-playing goalkeeper, but makes up for the same with his consistency between the sticks.
