Manchester United could be handed a fresh opportunity to sign Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong this summer.
The Netherlands international was a top target for the Red Devils in 2022, but they could not convince him into a deal.
They reached an agreement to sign him for €80m, but the Dutchman did not want to discuss personal terms in the end.
There has continued to be speculation over his future and Relevo today claim that De Jong could be forced through the exit door.
Barcelona need to recoup funds to balance their books and want to offload De Jong, who is one of their highest earners.
They are prepared to accept €50-60m for his services and it remains to be seen whether United make a renewed move.
Bayern Munich are already contemplating a proposal for the Dutchman and there could be more interest by the summer.
The likes of Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain have also been credited with an interest in the former Ajax graduate.
