Kia Joorabchian is reportedly looking to bring Joshua Zirkzee to Arsenal when the transfer window reopens this summer.
The Dutch striker has had a good second year with Bologna where he has registered 19 goal contributions in all competitions.
He is currently nursing a hamstring injury, but this has not stopped the speculation that he could pursue a new challenge.
Gazzetta dello Sport claim that Joorabchian has a good relationship with Edu Gaspar and he is keen to bring his client to the Gunners.
Zirkzee, on the other hand, is happy to continue in the Italian top-flight and feels he may struggle with the change of environment.
Bologna are currently evaluating his situation, but it looks likely that he will head for the exit door for a fee of around €40 million.
That is the buy-back clause for Bayern. Joorabchian has a verbal agreement that Zirkzee will be sold for the same fee to another club.
Zirkzee is anticipated to return from his setback by pre-season.
