Seedorf doesn't feel wanted

19 May 2008 - 12:19

Dutch midfielder Clarence Seedorf has admitted that he felt unwanted by coach Marco van Basten, and that is why he didn't decide to stay at the club. The AC Milan midfielder has decided to stay at home this summer.

  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • “It was a hard decision for me,” Seedorf told Setanta Sports News. “It is probably going to be the last European Cup I can play, so it was very tough.

”It was also tough on my colleagues and fans who supported me so much. But I think it is the best decision.

”I don’t think Van Basten really is convinced about me and what I can bring for the team and his vision, so it is useless for me to go and be part of something I am not going to be part of.”
