Moroccan midfielder Sofyan Amrabat has welcomed the possibility of staying with Manchester United next season.
The 27-year-old played sparingly for the club over the course of the season, but he was influential in the final weeks.
Amrabat got the nod over Casemiro in the FA Cup final on Saturday and he delivered a fantastic midfield display.
His loan deal from Fiorentina expires next month, but United have the option to purchase him for around €20 million.
When pressed on his future, Amrabat said: "We are going to talk. Staying is certainly an option. Look, I think it has been a very difficult season."
"For Manchester United it needs to be much better, and also for me personally. We are going to talk."
Amrabat will be hoping for more minutes next season if the Red Devils make the decision to keep hold of him.
This could also pave the way for the departure of Casemiro, who was initially dropped for the FA Cup final.
Casemiro was on the bench before picking up an injury in the warm-up.
