25 year old Argentinian midfielder Oscar Ahumada could be set for a move to Italy. Napoli, Palermo and Sampdoria are all interested in the ex-Wolfsburg player.
Ahumada made his debut on November 24, 2002 in a 2-1 victory against Olimpo de Bahía Blanca. He played a small part in helping River to the Clausura 2003 and 2004 championships before moving to Germany in 2004 for a short spell with VfL Wolfsburg before rejoining River later that year.
He is regarded as one of River Plate's most improving players, and is performing well in centre midfield for the side.
