Liverpool are reportedly planning to join Manchester United in the race to sign Bologna striker Joshua Zirkzee this summer.
The Red Devils are currently in constant contact with the representative of Zirkzee and they are optimistic of signing him.
However, they are not alone in the pursuit. Liverpool have also made an enquiry and could compete for his services.
Zirkzee currently has a release clause worth £34 million which should be easily affordable for the Premier League duo.
However, there are concerns regarding his salary as well as the agent commission. His representative is eyeing £13m.
On top of this, Zirkzee also has the ambition of staying put in Serie A. He could turn down the duo to continue at Bologna.
AC Milan have also been credited with an interest in the former Bayern man, but they are reluctant to pay the high agent fee.
We should get a clear idea over the striker's stance in the coming days.
