AS Roma line up Rosina

AS Roma line up Rosina

19 May 2008 - 19:26

Serie A's second placed club AS Roma are lining up a move for Alessandro Rosina, who plays for Italian minnows Torino. The winger has been improving considerably this season, and now Roma are set to offer £2.8 million to land the player.

  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?
  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?

  • Only this year, Rosina's form had given Roberto Donadoni the opportunity to call him up into the full Italian side, and the player responded well in the game with South Africa.

He since has helped Torino to 15th spot in Serie A and helped secure survival in the top flight for another year.

The 24 year old is also believed to be on the radar of Juventus and Sampdoria, and so Roma could face stiff opposition to land the player.
