Chelsea have submitted an official bid to sign Leicester City midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, according to David Ornstein.
The Blues are currently close to landing the signature of Marc Guiu and Omari Kellyman and Dewsbury-Hall could be the next.
The 25-year-old had a superb season for the Foxes last term. He was their best creator with 12 goals and 15 assists in all competitions.
He is now on the cusp of reuniting with manager Enzo Maresca, who swapped the Foxes for the Blues earlier this summer.
Maresca has a fond relationship with the Foxes playmaker and he has apparently played a big role in the Blues' transfer decision.
Dewsbury-Hall was close to joining Brighton & Hove Albion earlier this week, but the deal has collapsed after Chelsea's interest.
The fee for a potential transfer has not been mentioned, but the Foxes could be eyeing at least £40 million to sanction his departure.
The Midlands outfit were holding out for that fee in January and their position is now stronger after securing top-flight status.
