Manchester United have agreed to sell Donny van de Beek to Girona for a cut-price fee, according to Relevo.
The Dutchman has endured a tough career with the Red Devils and he has now secured a new challenge in La Liga.
Girona have paid an initial fee of just €500,000, but the deal could potentially rise to €5 million based on his performances.
The Netherlands international was one of the best playmakers in the world during his illustrious career with Ajax.
However, he has had a huge downfall since his move to United four years ago and will be hoping to revive his career.
Van de Beek has had some unsuccessful loan spells and will now be hoping to re-establish himself with Girona next term.
Girona exceeded expectations to finish third in the Spanish La Liga last season and they are keen to repeat the feat.
The club already have a strong first-team squad, but they are aiming to add more experience ahead of the next campaign.
