Manchester United have made the decision to sign another left-back amid the injury concerns for Tyrell Malacia.
Malacia has not played for the Red Devils in the last 14 months as he continues his recovery after a knee surgery.
He suffered a setback in his rehabilitation in late 2023 and there is no timescale for his comeback to playing action.
It is now reported by ESPN that the club have started the search for a new left-back and are looking at multiple options.
Crystal Palace's Tyrick Malacia is one of the players under consideration and he could be signed on the cheap as well.
The 24-year-old has a year left on his contract and there is a possibility that he could be swapped with Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
Wan-Bissaka has likewise entered the last year of his deal at United and has been widely tipped to head for the exit door.
United are also on the look out for a new right-back.
