Chelsea have reached an agreement to sign Boca Juniors wonderkid Aaron Anselmino, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Blues opened talks with Boca for the 19-year-old centre-back last month and they have now found an agreement.
Anselmino was also reluctant to accept the transfer proposal and he has now agreed after the Blues met his requirements.
The youngster will return to Boca on loan until at least January. He could join his new teammates during the next transfer window.
Anselmino was on the radar of AC Milan, Roma and Manchester United earlier this year, but the Blues have prised him away.
They have finalised a deal worth €20m including add-ons. He is expected to sign a seven-year contract at the west London giants.
The Blues have focused on signing emerging talents this summer and their process could continue in the forthcoming weeks.
The hierarchy are currently working on a deal for Gabriel Mec. The Gremio wonderkid has already agreed terms with the Blues.
