Chelsea have confirmed that Cole Palmer has put pen-to-paper on a new long-term contract.
The England international joined the Blues from Manchester City last summer and he had a sensational debut campaign with 25 goals and 15 assists.
His brilliant run of form has now been rewarded with an improved salary. Palmer has also extended his contract until the summer of 2033.
Speaking after the renewal, Palmer said: "I’m buzzing about the new contract, as you can probably tell.
"The smile hasn’t left my face and I’m just really happy about it.
"Since the first day I walked in the building, I’ve felt really good here. I’ve felt settled."
Palmer was a revelation during his maiden campaign at Chelsea and the onus is now on repeating the feat in the upcoming league season.
He had no expectations on his shoulders last term, but the scenario will be entirely different this time as fans will expect him to perform every game.
