Mallorca want Pablo Aimar

Real Mallorca are to make a shock move for talented Argentinian midfielder Pablo Aimar. The former Valencia and Real Madrid player is certain to leave Real Zaragoza after his club was relegated to the Segunda Division.

  • The 28 year old holds a Spanish passport, and is elligble for any side as one of their European players, which makes Aimar even more appealing to La Liga clubs, who have a three foreign player limit.

It is believed that Mallorca are to plump for Aimar as their primary transfer target this summer and will use the vast majority of their transfer funds to land him.

Aimar has over 50 caps for Argentina and 7 years experience in La Liga.
