Chelsea winger Jadon Sancho has sent a message to the fans following his move from Manchester United on transfer deadline day.
The England international was out-of-favour under manager Erik ten Hag and he was determined to secure a new challenge elsewhere.
Juventus made an option to sign him earlier this week, but Sancho was adamant that he wanted a return to London with Chelsea.
The Blues eventually signed him on loan with an obligation to buy for £20 million if they finish above 15th in the league table.
Shortly after his arrival, Sancho said: "I’m really excited to be here. London is where I grew up and I’m happy to be back.
"The manager spoke to me about the project and, for a young player, it's exciting. Hopefully I can bring goals and assists to the Bridge."
Sancho won't be in the matchday squad to face Crystal Palace this weekend and he is likely to make his debut after the international break.
