Manchester United have the opportunity to sign Lille striker Jonathan David for a huge bargain fee in the January transfer window.
The Canada international has been in superb form during the early weeks of the current season and he has already netted 13 goals.
Four of those have come in the Champions League against Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Juventus which has enhanced his reputation.
It is now reported that Lille are prepared to offload David for just €20m, considering his contract expires at the end of the season.
United, Liverpool and Arsenal have expressed an interest and the former are said to be concerned over the form of Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee.
Hojlund and Zirkzee have netted just three goals between them and the Red Devils may need an upgrade this winter to push for a top-four finish.
Amorim is unlikely to receive a massive transfer kitty due to PSR issues. David would represent a superb acquisition for the price mentioned.
