Juventus eyeing Zirkzee deal

Serie A giants open to signing Man Utd striker?

16 November 2024 - 21:22

Serie A giants Juventus are closely monitoring the situation of Manchester United striker Joshua Zirkzee ahead of the January transfer window.

  • Juventus and Napoli enter race for Chelsea winger
  • Felix Nmecha linked with Chelsea move

  • The Dutchman joined the Red Devils from Bologna with huge expectations, but he has been hugely disappointing in the early part of the campaign.

Zirkzee netted his maiden goal on debut off the bench, but he has since failed to find the back of the net. He has missed several clear-cut chances.

Ex-United boss Erik ten Hag did not want the Netherlands international last summer, but INEOS opted to sign him focusing on the resale value.

New manager Ruben Amorim also does not fancy Zirkzee and it has already been reported that the striker could be offloaded at some point next year.

Juventus are keeping tabs on the player's status and they could propose a loan deal with an option to buy if he becomes available in the market.

Zirkzee remains determined to prove himself under Amorim and it is left to be seen whether he can change the manager's stance in the near future.
