Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on the ongoing speculation linking Chelsea star Christopher Nkunku with a move to Manchester United.
The France international is the Blues' leading scorer this season with 10 goals, but he has started just one game in the Premier League thus far.
Enzo Maresca has preferred to pick Nicolas Jackson to lead the Blues attack and Nkunku has been restricted to starts in the Cup competitions.
The former RB Leipzig man is frustrated by the situation and recent reports claimed that United have already made an enquiry for his services.
In an update on YouTube, Romano said that United appreciate Nkunku, but there has been no contact between the Red Devils and the Blues.
United are not considering a new recruit at the current point of time and new manager Ruben Amorim will assess the squad in the near future.
Any move for Nkunku next year could be discussed with Amorim. The 39-year-old could have the final say in the club's pursuit of the attacker.
