Manchester United and Liverpool are both interested in signing Bournemouth defender Milos Kerkez at the end of the campaign.
The Red Devils currently have Luke Shaw and Tyrell Malacia as their specialist left-back options, but both have been injury prone.
New manager Ruben Amorim has urged the hierarchy to land a replacement and Kerkez is said to be perfect for the left wing-back role.
Amorim prefers to play with a 3-4-2-1 system and Kerkez would be a suitable acquisition due to his defensive skills and overlapping runs.
United are bound to face competition from arch-rivals Liverpool, who are looking for an upgrade on Robertson, who has regressed.
The Cherries are aware of the ever-increasing interest in their starlet and they are expected to demand at least £50m to sanction his exit.
United and Liverpool are capable of meeting the price, provided the Cherries are willing to accept staggered payments for a deal.
Kerkez has also been linked with Serie A giants Juventus, but the Hungarian will most likely prefer to continue in England.
