Manchester United and Liverpool have already opened talks with Brighton & Hove Albion attacker Joao Pedro over a possible summer transfer.
Pedro has been in superb form for the South Coast outfit this campaign and he has already bagged four goals and three assists in nine league games.
The Brazilian is prepared to take the next step in his career next summer and both United and Liverpool have held initial talks with the forward.
They have already made contact with the player's entourage and they could soon open negotiations with Brighton over a potential summer deal.
Pedro has another three-and-a-half years left on his contract with Brighton. The club are unlikely to let him go unless they receive a premium fee.
He is presently valued in the region of £42m by Transfermarkt, but Brighton could easily demand in excess of £70m for his services.
United and Liverpool will need to spend big to land his signature or else Brighton could decide to keep him for another 12 months at least.
