Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has heaped praise on Erik ten Hag following Amad Diallo's heroics against Manchester City in the Premier League yesterday.
The Red Devils registered a stunning 2-1 win over the Cityzens at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday. They were trailing 1-0 in the 87th minute before a sublime turnaround.
Amad Diallo won a penalty for the Red Devils which was converted by Bruno Fernandes. Just 115 seconds later, the Ivorian went on to score the winner.
Speaking after the game, Amorim spoke fondly about the young attacker and praised Ten Hag for his involvement in his development this campaign.
He said: "He’s so good, so humble. But let’s stay calm with Amad, keep calm. Ten Hag and Van Nistelrooy did a great job with him, we continue that. Really important."
United remain 13th in the Premier League after the victory, but they are now within six points of Nottingham Forest, who are fourth in the table.
