Liverpool are laying the groundwork to sign Brighton & Hove Albion forward Joao Pedro at the end of the campaign, as per Football Insider.
The Merseyside giants have been in exceptional form under manager Arne Slot. They are currently top of the Premier League and Champions League standings.
The Reds are not expected to spend big during the winter transfer window, but the situation is likely to be different when the season ends.
Pedro is one of the top names on the club's radar and reports claim that he could be signed for an overall package of around £60 million.
The Brazilian has been a key player for the Seagulls since his move last year, but he is open to joining an elite Premier League outfit.
Aside from the Reds, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur are also interested in landing the 23-year-old, who can play in multiple attacking roles.
Pedro is primarily a centre-forward, but can operate from an attacking midfield role too. He would be a good piece of signing for the Reds.
