Manchester United and Chelsea are interested in landing the signature of Ipswich Town striker Liam Delap at the turn of the year, according to Daily Mail.
The England Under-21 international signed for the Tractor Boys from Manchester City last summer. He has fared well with six goals and one assist in 17 league games.
Delap's form has caught the eye of several elite Premier League clubs and reports claim that the newly-promoted club face a huge challenge on their hands to keep him.
United and Chelsea are interested in signing him as early as next month. There is reportedly a release clause that could be triggered by the duo.
However, they could still miss out on his services to City. The Cityzens agreed a buy-back clause when Delap was sold to the Tractor Boys.
Delap has directly contributed to Ipswich picking up five extra points and his departure could be a huge blow to their Premier League survival hopes.
