Ghanaian international midfielder Anthony Annan could soon be set for a move to the Premiership as Middlesbrough reportedly are lining him up as a long-term successor to George Boateng.
Annan is owned by Norweigan side IK Start, but spent last season at Stabaek.
"My agent is working hard for me, and he says a lot about me moving to the Premiership in the summer, so I'm looking forward to playing there,â the 21-year-old Annan told the Evening Gazette.
"He told me Blackburn Rovers, Bolton Wanderers and Middlesbrough are all interested. My first choice is for a move to England, but I would otherwise think about France or Spain."
