Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has said that the Blues' early exit from the FA Cup could be a positive.
The Blues bowed out of the competition in the fourth round following a 2-1 loss to Brighton & Hove Albion on the road.
Speaking after the game, Maresca said that it's a shame that the Blues have exited the competition at such an early stage.
However, he added that there is something positive as Chelsea can now focus on the Premier League and Conference League.
He said: "It is for sure a shame. No doubt. It is a difficult competition. For sure, it is a big shame for us but if there is something positive.
"We can be focused on the Premier League and the Conference League. Hopefully we can continue our journey there."
Chelsea are strong favourites to win the Conference League and that could be their only chance of lifting silverware this term.
The Blues have added Cole Palmer into their squad for the knockout stage, having not involved him during the league phase.
