Arsenal midfielder Jorginho has been ruled out of the Champions League semi-final ties against Paris Saint-Germain this month.
The Italy international has been a squad player for the Gunners this term and he has now been ruled out for the games against PSG.
Jorginho picked up a chest injury in the 1-1 Premier League draw against Brentford and has subsequently missed the last two matches.
Speaking prior to the Crystal Palace game, Arteta confirmed that the former Chelsea man is expected to be sidelined for a few weeks.
The Spanish tactician added that he is not certain that the midfielder will play some part before the end of the ongoing campaign.
Jorginho's current deal with Arsenal expires at the end of June and reports claim that the club's hierarchy have no plans of extending his stay.
Flamengo are in advanced negotiations with the experienced midfielder and he is widely expected to join them after leaving the Gunners.
