Tottenham in for Muntari?

Tottenham in for Muntari?

26 May 2008 - 10:35

Tottenham have made a reported player plus cash offer for Sulley Muntari. The Portsmouth midfielder was in top form in his first year in the Premiership; now Juande Ramos wants to bring him to Spurs.

  • Chelsea ready new contract for star midfielder
  • Chelsea make first move to sign Xabi Alonso
  • Reportedly, Tottenham are preparing to offer Younes Kaboul and £7 million in exchange for the Ghanaian midfielder.

That would be a cash value of around £15 million for the talented player.

Muntari has been linked with an exit this summer already, with several Italian clubs keen on bringing him back to Serie A.

Tottenham boss Juande Ramos has already hinted that his summer spending is likely to continue; and if the reports are true and Muntari does become a Spurs player, this would prove a fantastic coup.
