The Brazil international has had a solid campaign with the La Liga giants with 25 goal contributions in all competitions.

However, his future is uncertain with the Madrid heavyweights, having been a substitute for the last four games at the Club World Cup.

Arsenal have already held preliminary talks with the player's entourage, and they have now been handed a huge transfer boost.

Hand of Arsenal claims that Rodrygo has snubbed the possibility of moving to the Saudi Pro League during the ongoing window.

The 24-year-old prefers a move to the Premier League instead with Arsenal being his 'absolute priority' if a deal can be finalised.

Madrid reportedly value their prized asset at €90m, but the Gunners remain optimistic of lowering the package for the attacker.

Arsenal believe they could secure his services for around €75m. Rodrygo could be assured a regular starting role on the left wing.
