Manchester United are poised to make a third offer to sign Brentford winger Bryan Mbeumo this summer.
The Red Devils are determined to land the Cameroon international, who bagged 20 goals and eight assists in the Premier League last term.
The winger has already given the green light for the transfer, but the Bees are reluctant to sanction his sale unless they receive the right package.
They have already turned down two bids of £55m and £62.5m and are eyeing an improved proposal to part ways with the former Troyes man.
Joao Pedro recently made the move to Chelsea from Brighton & Hove Albion for £60m. He managed just 10 goals and six assists last season.
Brentford have taken the price tag as a benchmark and believe Mbeumo is much higher rated. He may not leave for less than £70m this summer.
United are poised to make an improved third bid and it remains to be seen whether they will come closer to meeting the reported price tag.
