Tottenham's unwanted defender Ricardo Rocha is expected to join Benfica this week. Sanchez Flores is looking forward to bringing in some new players this summer and Rocha has emerged as one of the club's main targets.
Rocha is expected to be leaving the club for around £700k after Juande Ramos told the player he was not part of his plans.
âBenfica is the club of my heart, always was and always will be,â said Rocha to TSF.
âIt was there that I graduated as a man and as a player.
âI won titles and was able to jump to a major championship in the world.
âI have a lot to thank Benfica for and if one day thereâll be an opportunity to return I would see it as a great opportunity.â
