Chelsea have made the decision to part ways with Christopher Nkunku before the transfer window closes on September 1.
The Blues have already bolstered their attack with the signings of Liam Delap, Joao Pedro and Jamie Gittens this summer.
They are aiming to add more faces to the frontline, but this is expected to coincide with possible exits before the deadline.
Fabrizio Romano now reports that Nkunku is expected to head for the exit door and a decision has already been made.
The Frenchman starred for the Blues during the Club World Cup, but he has likewise acknowledged that he needs to move on.
Nkunku was a regular substitute in the Premier League last term and his situation is unlikely to improve next campaign.
Delap and Pedro are set to compete for a starting spot upfront.
Alongside Nkunku, the Blues are also expected to part ways with Nicolas Jackson before the transfer window slams shut.
