Chelsea are determined to sign Manchester United winger Alejandro Garnacho and RB Leipzig playmaker Xavi Simons this summer.
Garnacho has been deemed surplus to requirements by United and he is now keen on joining the Blues. Personal terms have been agreed and talks are also ongoing between the clubs regarding the price tag.
It seems only a matter of time before Garnacho makes the switch. United are likely to accept a package of less than £50 million for their graduate.
The Blues are also keen on landing Simons from Leipzig, but have yet to convince the Bundesliga outfit. The club are seeking a discount on the £61m price tag to land the Netherlands international.
Simons has given the green light for the transfer, and the Blues are likely to hold further talks with Leipzig to finalise a lesser fee for the attacker.
Chelsea ideally want both players in the squad ahead of the Premier League curtain-raiser against Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge on August 17.
