Manchester United have reached an agreement with AC Milan over the loan transfer of Rasmus Hojlund with a buy clause, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.
The Dane has fallen out-of-favour under manager Ruben Amorim and he is expected to be offloaded by the club after the summer acquisition of Benjamin Sesko.
Milan have reportedly agreed on a formula to sign him on loan with a buy clause, but the final decision will rest on the former Atalanta marksman.
Hojlund has repeatedly said that he wants to fight for his spot with the Red Devils and he may not entertain a possible exit before the deadline.
United, on their part, could seek to convince him to move on as he may not be starting regularly for the club next season ahead of Sesko.
With no European competition next term, United could end up playing just 40 games if they are eliminated early in the Carabao and FA Cups.
