Arsenal are reportedly keen on signing Lyon winger Malick Fofana despite securing an agreement for Crystal Palace playmaker Eberechi Eze.
The Gunners hijacked Tottenham Hotspur's move for the England international last night and he is expected to join from the Eagles this weekend.
Eze is primarily an attacking midfielder by trade, but he is expected to operate as an inside left winger for the Gunners, having done so on many occasions at Palace.
L'Equipe now claim that the Gunners are still on the look out for another attacking addition and could make an approach for Fofana before the transfer deadline.
Lyon are ready to sell the Belgian youngster for £35 million amid their financial troubles. Arsenal could face competition from Bayern Munich for his services.
Everton reached an agreement to sign the talented attacker earlier this summer, but Fofana snubbed them due to his desire to play Champions League football.
Chelsea were linked with the 20-year-old last month, but the Blues are currently prioritising moves for Alejandro Garnacho and Xavi Simons.
