Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has said that Noussair Mazraoui won't be fit before the international break.
The Moroccan has been sidelined with an injury since pre-season. He has not featured in the opening two league games of the new campaign.
United take on Grimsby Town in the Carabao Cup second round this week before hosting Burnley in the Premier League.
Speaking in today's pre-match press conference, Amorim said that the club don't want to take any extra risks with Mazraoui.
He said: "Maybe he is going to return next week, we will see. But he’s near, we are just finishing some drills with him to be sure that he’s not going to have another problem."
Alongside Mazraoui, Lisandro Martinez remains on the sidelines. He has not featured since his serious knee injury last winter.
The Argentine has been working individually away from the group and he could be integrated into team training next month.
