Manchester United defender Lisandro Martinez has provided an update on his recovery from a long-term knee injury.
The Argentine suffered the setback in February this year and he is not anticipated to make his comeback until late October.
However, he has started working on his fitness and was spotted back on the grass with the physiotherapist earlier on Wednesday.
United will hope that he can make a swift recovery without any setbacks.
The Red Devils are yearning for his experience in the left centre-back role where there has been an evident weakness this term.
Luke Shaw has started in the position in the early weeks, but has lacked positional awareness. United need an upgrade on him.
United take on Chelsea in the Premier League on Saturday and there is a possibility that Shaw could be on the bench against them.
Harry Maguire could come into the heart of the defence instead of Shaw. Leny Yoro could play on the left side of the back three.
