Manchester United Sir Jim Ratcliffe has held crisis talks with manager Ruben Amorim ahead of the Premier League clash against Chelsea at Old Trafford on Saturday.
The Red Devils have had a tough start to the campaign and they have picked up only four points from as many games. As a result, the pressure is already on Amorim to turn things around.
The hierarchy continue to back the Portuguese, but there needs to be a massive improvement over the next few games or else Amorim could be shown the exit door by the club.
Ratcliffe reportedly flew into Carrington in a helicopter to hold talks earlier today. It was a pre-planned trip and reports claim that he had a personal meeting with Amorim over the campaign.
Amorim's position is not under threat as things stand. He will be aiming to spark a turnaround, starting from the home game against the Blues on Saturday. A defeat could lead to more scrutiny.
