Manchester United could receive a big injury boost following the November international break, according to The Sun.
The Red Devils have been without the services of Lisandro Martinez since February when he picked up a serious knee injury.
He has been spotted back on the grass in recent weeks, but United are handling him with extra caution, given his past injury record.
It is now reported that Martinez's rehabilitation is going as planned. The Argentine could return to the playing field as early as next month.
Martinez could be available for selection after the November international break, just in time for the hectic festive run of fixtures.
United have relied on Luke Shaw for the left centre-back role this season. Martinez could be eased back into action.
Once he becomes a regular in the role, we may see Shaw occupying the left wing-back position on a more frequent basis.
United face Liverpool on the road after the international break.
