Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca has confirmed a big injury boost ahead of the Champions League clash against Ajax at Stamford Bridge tomorrow.
The Blues have found momentum on either side of the international break. The London giants have won their last three games across all competitions.
Ahead of tomorrow's encounter against Ajax, Maresca has revealed that Enzo Fernandez has returned to training after missing out against Nottingham Forest.
Fernandez missed the weekend's trip due to a minor knee injury on international duty, but the World Cup winner will be assessed in the lead-up to the Ajax game.
Maresca said: "Enzo took part in the session yesterday, we have one more session and we will see what we do tomorrow."
Chelsea lost their opening Champions League game against Bayern Munich before beating Benfica. They are favourites to secure a comfortable win over Ajax as well.
Ajax have been unconvincing in the Eredivisie, winning just four out of their nine games this term. The Blues must capitalise and secure a fourth consecutive win.
