Manchester United are reportedly keen on landing the signature of Ecuadorian midfielder Ederson Castillo.
The Red Devils are on the hunt for quality young talents and have already sealed an agreement for Cristian Orozco from Fortaleza.
The club are now closely monitoring Castillo who is currently in the ranks of Liga de Quito in Ecuador.
The 17-year-old is a defensive midfielder by trade and has been likened to Moises Caicedo in his country.
He has made only six appearances for the first-team thus far, but has already attracted plenty of interest.
Alongside United, Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich are also keeping tabs on the highly-rated teenager.
Castillo only turned 17 yesterday and he can't be registered by a European club until he turns 18 years of age.
Hence, a transfer won't happen until January 2027, but interested teams can negotiate a pre-agreement for him.
Castillo is said to be open to moving to Europe and his agent is already speaking with interested suitors.
