Tottenham Hotspur could make a fresh move to sign Manchester City winger Savinho during the winter transfer window.
The north London giants looked at the prospect of landing Savinho last summer, but Man City made the choice to keep him.
However, the scenario could change in the coming days with Man City on the cusp of landing Bournemouth winger Antoine Semenyo.
Semenyo has already given the green light for a transfer and talks are underway over how to pay his £65 million release clause.
If Semenyo were to arrive as planned, it could pave the way for the departure of Savinho, who may want regular playing time next year.
Savinho has been out of the picture in the Brazilian national set-up and has his sights on playing regularly ahead of the World Cup next summer.
Spurs are keeping a close eye on his situation and could swoop for his services once Man City confirm the acquisition of Semenyo.
