Chelsea could reportedly part ways with manager Enzo Maresca in January if the current run of Premier League form continues, according to Sky Sports.
The Blues have had a disappointing month of December. They are presently two points behind fourth-placed Liverpool, who have a game in hand.
The west London giants have picked up just one league win this month, and reports claim that Maresca is under immense pressure heading into January.
Maresca's future at the Blues is hanging in the balance and he could be axed by the hierarchy if the club can't turnaround their fortunes in the near future.
Chelsea face a huge challenge against Manchester City on the road on Sunday. If they were to suffer a heavy defeat, it could pave the way for Maresca's exit.
The Blues have not lined up a possible replacement as things stand. It remains to be seen whether the club can return to winning ways under Maresca.
